Kill The Wizard is a graphic novel about a new family that is torn apart when an evil wizard, hell bent on obtaining a magical amulet, kidnaps a couple's baby. With the help of a magical stranger, the parents embark on a treacherous journey to save their child. Will courage, love, and magic be enough to succeed in their quest to KILL THE WIZARD?

Kill the Wizard is a fresh take on some classic fantasy story troupes that will will keep you on your toes. The entire 260 page story is told only with pictures and NO WORDS (well, almost none). Its truly a heartfelt fantasy adventure for adults both young and old. It's got something for everyone: wizards, magic, dragons, bats, zombies, demons, swords, action, and romance. An exciting story filled with some fun twists!

This graphic novel was written and drawn by Seattle's self-proclaimed comics visionary, Mark Allender. He has been drawing comics for way too long and contributed work to publications like The Stranger, The Seattle Weekly, Intruder Comix Newspaper, Scarfff, Nemesis Enforcer, and the list goes downhill from there. Mark has also self-published many smaller comics magazines and zines over the years, which he plans on compiling into a single book and publishing through Senton Design.

Kill The Wizard is my freshman attempt at drawing a full length graphic novel, so it was an enlightening and humbling experience reading back through it for this second edition. I had so much fun drawing this story, so I really hope that joy came across while you were reading it.

I originally published this comic in five issues, but for the final book I created an additional 80 pages to tell the backstory of the Mother and the Amulet. For some bonus content, I have included a gallery of the cover art for those individual issues. I also included a short comic I drew called Gnome & Serpent, which served as an inspiration to create a longer story.
