After 20-plus years of working in the AV industry, I decided it was time for a change of direction. I have always been a creative person who enjoyed making illustrations and dabbling in animation. So, when I decided on my next career path, Graphic Design and Motion Design seemed the natural choice.
I take pride in my ability to conceptualize and develop unique ideas. As a visual thinker with a hands-on learning style, my design process always starts with putting pen on paper and sketching things out. I have strong written and verbal communication skills, which I amplify with the use of visual aids. I thrive in a fast-paced creative environment, whether I'm a team player or flying solo. Staying organized is very important to me, so I know how to adhere to file structures and proper naming conventions. I have an attention to detail, especially when it comes to upholding branding standards and guidelines. I'm fascinated by the technical side of the creative process and always take the initiative when it comes to learning new software and technology.
